Hello CFD community,

I have a finite difference, staggered grid, semi-implicit code.
It solves both the momemtum and the energy equation with
the low-mach number formulation. I am looking into developing
a benchmark test to validate upcoming compressibility developments.
For now I am just focusing on laminar flow. I would appreciate any
information on classical benchmarks for this type of developments.

(I am looking through the textbooks for something like a analytical
solution of Poiselle flow but with compressibility...but I cannot
find it!, )

Thanks,

Luis

Viscous fluid flow by White had some analytical expressions for Blasius flatplate flow. Also look for fluid mechanics book by Landau and Lifshitz. They have a lot of analytical solutions.
