Hello everyone,

i have a question. Is it right that it is not allowed to interpolate a solution of a DES from a coarse to a fine grid and than continue to solve.

Thanks for your help.

I am not sure where you heard it. I have used such interpolation for performing calculations and did not notice any problems. However, I have heard that using delayed DES introduces a dependence on the initial condition and not the original DES. Check the paper by Frohlich and Von Terzi in Progress in Aerospace Sciences.

Thank you. I heard it in school from a fellow student and just wanted to be sure that I don't make any mistake.
