I am working with CFX and I am interested in exporting the results file i.e., .res for varibles like velocity, kinetic energy ...etc (including block number and block connectivity). Does any body have some feedback.

I think the sample utility might help you. Check the OpenFOAM UserGuide.
You will need to modify the /system/sampledict file accordingly.

To get block number and block connectivity use checkmesh utility
