Hello every one,

I am simulating a pipe flow.there are two inlets for this pipe.For one inlet flow velocity is independent of time,for another inlet flow velocity is varying with respect to time. For second inlet i am using transient boundary profile.
like this

(
(inlet point 72)
(time
0
1
2
.....
)
(
velocity
0
13.6
13.6
.....
0
0
...)
)

But after applying this boundary profile as boundary condition there is no flow in to the pipe.
I think the profile is not updating for each time step(means it is at first time step only 0 velocity).

And showing a waring there are no x,y,z velocities for inlet

I've stuck here for a long time i tried so many ways to overcome this problem and i am failed. So please give me any solution for this problem.
please.......

Thanks in advance.

Are you using a commercial CFD package? Writing your own code? Using your professor's private software?

Knowing what software/techniques/assumptions/etc would really help.

You might want to post your question in the Fluent Forum. The folks who use it will be concentrated there.
