Default Laminar and Turbulent flow of transient analysis

I have obtained a result of transient analysis of magnetorheological fluid damper. I have considered two cases here one analysis with laminar flow and second with turbulent flow.

I have compared both the results and found the turbulent (SST) case has given lesser value compared to the laminar value.

The Reynolds number of the fluid flow at one portion of the damper where the fluid behaves as nonnewtonian (high viscous) is below 200. Another portion of the damper fluid behaves as Newtonian fluid (low viscous).

Which case I should be considered, Laminar or Turbulent?
