PDE and CFD

Hello everybody!

I decided to have some extra studies in mathematics which related to CFD. I'm new in this field. What is your suggestion about the mathematics fields which can help me? for example calculation of variation , PDE theory or .....
Please tell me about the details of that field.

Hi

I suggest you study numerical PDE's with focus on computations, not on proofs.
For turbulence applications, RANS knowledge is important, and RANS is a good way to learn CFD. I recommend you to look at the books section of CFD Online.

thanks for your resopnse. for example calculation of variation can be useful in finite element method? how about study about PDE's theory or numerical computation?

I'd look at the Philosophy of Science and in particular, the ideas behind double blind experiments.
