Dear CFD people,

I have recently wrote a 2D multi-block Navier-Stokes solver using finite volume discretization technique. I have tested my code by simultaing laminar flow field around NACA 0012 airfoil. It works OK!

However, I have noticed that when an interface boundary of the multi-block grid intersects the wall boundary (ie. airfoil surface), solution data (pressure, temperatura, skin friction...) on the surface does not match the experimental data at the intersection. Also aerodynamic coefficients becomes in correct in this case.

Can you please help me fix this issue?

Best regards...

Is the solution incorrect only at that point, or the overall solution itself is incorrect?

Anyway, did you perform a steady state computation of say, boundary layer over a flat plate? That would show you the source of error. My doubt is that, there is a mis-match in the block-block communication and implementation of wall boundary condition. Hope this info helps you to solve the problem
