Career advise-start

Dear All,

I am looking for a job either in academia or in industry. I've completed my PhD from the UK on February 2004, thesis title:

Mathematical and Numerical Study of Two–Phase Flow Models.

If you are interested in this please let me know so I'll e-mail you an abstract of my work and a CV. If you want to discuss it further please e-mail me on job_2offer@yahoo.com I'll appreciate any advise and help to start my career.

Many thanks,

New scientist

Re: Career advise-start

The best advice I can give you is to talk with people you know in industry and academia. Ask if they know if there is a position in their organisation and who to speak with, and also if they know some other people that could help with a contact. By that you should be find some places to search for work. I do not know how it is in UK but I think in Denmark that only 20% of the position are found in news papers, almost the rest is by personal contacts. Best Luck
