i need some good references (Papers, books, online articles etc...) which can explain the basic formulation of LES equations and SGS models plus some LU-SGS , Flux splitting and stuff. If you know some good references , plese write down. Your help is gretly appreciated.

Hi

For LES, you may consider Sagaut's book: "Large-eddy simulation for incompressible flows - An introduction", Springer-Verlag, 2nd edition, 2003. (http://www.cfd-online.com/Books/show...hp?book_id=247 for the first edition)

There is also a book by Geurts: "Elements of Direct and Large-Eddy Simulation",R.T. Edwards, Inc., 2003. (http://www.cfd-online.com/Books/show...hp?book_id=453), but I haven't read it.

Regard

I don't really know classical papers with a short explanation of LES. However, you could try U. Piomelli's short course: http://www.glue.umd.edu/~ugo/research/figs/CFD01.ps.gz It's shorter and easier for LES beginners that Sagaut's book. It also includes a lot of examples of DNS or LES computed turbulent flows.

Regards.
