incompressible, 2-D laminar flow over flat plate...

1 Attachment(s)
I have used simple explicit scheme code to simulate laminar flow over flat plate.

Results show some velocity overshoot just next to the plate surface. does anyone know the reason?

i am attatching the C code i have written....

i have taken
u_freestream=100m/s
dy=5 x 10^(-6)
dx=5 x 10^(-5)

Re=1.363*10^(-7)
rho and p are sea level qty.

also attatching the boundary layer plot for different values of x.... it way to far from 100... but gradually receds to 100...

also some one suggested me to use variable grid length along the y-axis, specially near the plate.... how am i suppose to do that...???
