varunjain89 is on a distinguished road
i want to find the length of boundary layer for a reynold's no. 100, and 200
at the end of plate of length 1m.

if i'm using simple analyitc formula of laminar boundary layer, D=5x/(Rex)^1/2

my answer would be 0.5 m. how's this possible that for a plate length of 1m, boundary lyer is 0.5m. Is the analytical solution wrong...???

well u get the same analytic formula from blasius solution....

thanks in advance...
