Joule Heating Experiment

Dear All,

Please help me in simulating a Joule heating experiment , that consits of a solid copper rod supplied with 220 V , and the surrounding fluid is water.
I am good at ANSYS CFX, I have gone through the tutorials , I understand that there will be 2 domains solid & fluid, please visit the following links to understand the problem correctly :-

I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW TO CREATE THE GEOMETRY ?? I can do the simulation setup a domain.. I am not good at CAD softwares .. I can only use CFX or ICEM.
Some one please help me create this geometry

Best Regards,

Salik

Are you interested in the temperature drop across the rod.
Most probably no
Create the water volume, the rod surface is a boundary with a known heat flux
good luck

Heating effect

Yes I am interested in the temperature rise of the surrouding water... I was unable to create a mesh for the geometry that I had created ... but now I have used an example mesh file from CFX for Conjugate heat transfer to model the joule heating experiment.... Thankyou for your help.
