Hi,
I am trying to create a simple micro channel with internat pillars in gambit,in the channel i have 3 .5mm diameter pillars equi distance apart, the channel is 15mm long and 2mm wide,im just wondering what would be the best way to mesh this channel,i want to get a structured mesh but im not sure what to do.
Should i create faces around each pillar or is there a simpler way of doing this, its a 2d problem.
Thanks for your time.
Regards
Gummy

Just want to add,the problem will be odeled using vof and surface tension is important aswell as wall adhesion.so th emesh will have to be finer at both the wall and pillar boundaries.
thanks again
