I want to provide the velocity profiles which got from measurments into the fluent, can anyone please tell me if the mesh for the inlet is important? For me, i have a semi-ciurcular inlet and it's hard to get a good quality mesh.
I am looking forward to your reply! Thanks! |

The mesh quanlity has great effects on the simulation resutls. For inner flow problem tried to use a butterfly type grid. the grid lines are nearly orthogonal to the boundary. at the axis of the pipe, singular point problem is avoided.
