I am looking for a cheap or shareware grid generation software that I can run on a PC, that will import CAD data (IGES files). Generate the grid, and also be able to work with WIND 2.0.

Thanks Matt Mason

Hello Matt,

We sell a grid generation package that meets all your needs (PC (NT), IGES and WIND). It is a commercial package and therefore more expensive than a shareware code.

For more information have a look at;

http://www.icemcfd.com or http://www.topologies.co.uk

That depends on what kind of application you are handling. I know nothing about WIND 2.0, but I heard one code from AEDC is called WIND. You have to choose carefully if your are handling some particular problem, such as propulsion, or IC engine. ICEM is very good for complex geometry.
