Hi,
I am working on numerical prediction of shock detachment distance from sphere in supersonic flow,
my results have good agreement with test data when I use the constant gama=1.4, but when I use the real gas effect (variable Cp due to temperature increment behind shock wave), my results differ from test data up to 20%!
I cant understand it, the tests results are extracted from real gas phenomena, but real gas simulation are wrong?!?
I hope to receive a good idea.
