quantity of gas flowing through a pipe

Hi,
I am a Chemistry researcher and not really familiar with fluid flow dynamics. Can anyone help me to solve the problem below. I want to calculate the quantity of gas I am entrapping in a sample loop when I use a fast switching valve. The following parametres are known 1. Gas flow rate 2. volume of the loop |
