Hello,
From the information I gathered, this book published by Pergamon Press in 1973 is not published anymore. You may find it in libraries.
The original German book is still available from Springer.

No PDF that I know of, where did you search?

Elsevier bought Pergamon Press, so they may be the copyright holder. Ask them; if enough people show an interest in that book, it may get published again.

Hi Guys,

From the above conversation it is clear that, we wont be able to get our hands on the Bruno Eck book. Is there any other book on fan design and operation.

I am a designer and need more update on these books.

The only book exclusively on fans I have come accross:
- Ventilatoren (German), B Eck, Springer, ISBN 3-540-44058-5
- Ventilatoren (German), T Carolus, Vieweg+Teubner, ISBN 978-3-8348-0778-6
- Fan Handbook, FP Bleier, McGraw-Hill, ISBN 0-07-005933-0 (practical experience and empirical simple formulas, not theoritical)

Has a chapter on fans:
- Fundamentals of Turbomachinery, WW Peng, Wiley, ISBN 978-0-470-12422-2
- Stömungsmaschinen 1, W Bohl/W Elmendorf, Vogel, ISBN 978-3-8343-3130-4

Beside these, books on turbomachines and aerodynamics apply.

I may very soon get an electronic copy of the English translation of Eck's book from 1973. Springer and Elsevier have been contacted, and they say they do not hold the copyright, so I believe sharing this book is ok?
