Flow at different temperatures
 

Dear all,

i'm dealing with a multiphase transient model which contains two gas and a solid divided in tiny particles. The two gas are injected against the solid, which is contained in a kind of vessel, so the solid particles are drag with the flow.

I've ran the simulation at enviromental conditions as an isotermal process at 25 C and it works. The problem comes when the temperature of my isothermal problem is changed to 700 C instead of 25. The solver gets the solution but now it seems the solid particles are thrown out of the reactor and i don't understand it, because if the temperature rises its density goes down thus the drag force should be lower and consequently particles should NOT be able of reach the top of vessel, as in enviromental conditions simulation.

What do you suggest about it?. Any idea?
