Oxygen Mass Transfer
 

Dear all

here the problem: I have to model a oxygen mass transportation across the wall of a linear pipe representing a cardiocirculatory vessel.

Can you help me to setting the initial and boundary condition below please?

Oxygen is dissolved in blood at 3% in volume. I ignore in the first place the presence of bounded oxygen (HB-bounded). Furthermore I ignore the diffusivities across the wall in order to see the diffusion of oxygen in the blood.

How set the mixture and the partial pressure of oxygen (i.e. 80 mmHg)?

Did you have any success with this model.
If so, could you tell me how it was done. I am modelling a similar problem at the moment.
