All,

I am trying to use CFD to calculate friction factors over lanced and offset fin using a 2D model with periodic boundary conditions in the direction perpendicular to the flow (see attached graphic).

I'm wondering if anyone can kindly provide me with some tips on a suitable turbulence model to use for this type of flow, which will contain vortex shedding, wakes, separation and all that good stuff. I'd like to study Reynolds numbers in the range of 100-10,000.

Thanks in advance,
Eric
