Finding drag coefficient
I am working on a CFD project and i have developed a code for flow past square cylinder using HSMAC algorithm. But the problem now is, i don't know how to compute the drag coefficient. i mean should i measure the pressure difference between the whole front and rear face of the cylinder to compute it. Also my Strouhal number value is varying with inlet velocity, what could be the problem.

Probalby you need to sum up (Vectorially) all the forces acting on each element to compute the total force.
Then from the definition of drag force F = 0.5*Cd*.... you can compute the drag coefficient.
