I tried for the Thesis at the Caltech site without much success. I require this thesis at the earliest and really appreciate any help in this regard.

Hi Kun

I searched in the same ETD seach but cudnt find the thesis..i again tried the search site..jus to make sure that i hadnt missed this one ,...i cudnt come across the theis..the fact i guess..is ..this thesis is little earlier to this set up of online theses and hence cudnt be available. if you have any other source ..I would be more than happy to hear from you.

Googling using Dr.Y.C Wang shock got http://www.eng.man.ac.uk/Research/projects.htm i which has Azam Tafreshi (Rm 1.47, Ext. 4459, Email: atafreshi@man.ac.uk) as a previous contact till 1999.
