Abnormal flow pathline in 3D geometry

Hello All,

I'm facing a peculiar problem in 3D annular flow geometry. There are two co-centric cylinders where the outer cylinder has perforation through which flow enters "VELOCITY INLET" into the annular region.

The inner cylinder has few radial baffles in the circumference. I've defined inner surface of the cylinder as "WALL" and also as solid in ZONE continuum. In principal, flow "should pass around the baffles" and exit through the "PRESSURE OUTLET" at the bottom surface of the outer cylinder.

The simulation converges well however surprisingly the flow path lines "directly pass through the inner cylinder wall" and exits through the outlet as if inner cylinder "WALL" is permeable (this can't happen!!)

Can anybody please share his knowledge on this erratic flow path line pattern?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Subhasish
