Knudsen / Molecular Flow - Monte Carlo Simulation

I have a few questions regarding the simulation of transitional (Knudsen) and free molecular flow using a direct simulation Monte Carlo method (DSMC):

Does anyone have significant experience with DSMC codes? Do any of the major commercial vendors (Fluent, StarCD, etc.) run DSMC code? Can someone recommend any DSMC freeware or shareware? Has anyone used Bird's DSMC software and can give me some feedback,

Thanks for your input!

Hello Axel!

As far as I know major commercial vendors don't run DSMC codes. Right now I'm playing with Bird's freeware DSWT and I've heard that among people dealing with DMSC Bird's software considered to be pretty reliable (1 of 2 papers contains comparison with Bird :)
