i am new on turbulence modeling and read Wilcox' paper named "Reassement of the Scale-Determining Equation for Advanced Turbulence Models, AIAA j., 1998. there are many coeffients on the k-w equation(II-B in the paper). i could derive beta/beta^* = 6/5 but remains of coefficients, sigma, sigma^*, gamma, couldn't. anybody who have information, tell me. i would like to know how to decide the rest of coefficients. thanks ahead.

(1). I don't have that paper you mentioned. I don't think it is listed in AIAA Journal,1998. (2). It is a good idea to talk to the author directly, if he has the time to answer your questions. You can find his address in Resources/ company section.(DCW ,I think)

i am sorry. i made a mistake! Reassement of the Scale-Determining Equation for Advanced Turbulence Models, AIAA j., 1998.(<- here!)

1998->1988

the correct is the Wilcox'paper, Reassement of the Scale-Determining Equation for Advanced Turbulence Models, AIAA j.Vol26, No 11 p1299-p1310, 1988.

This is a pretty old paper. Wilcox's has since then revised his model. You should get the new edition of his excellent book "Turbulence Modeling for CFD". It presents a more recent version of this model and gives a lot more details - should give you a good start.

Thanks Mr. or Mrs. Larsson.

I read the book, especially p92 to p95. The book summarized his paper so the contents of the book the same.
