Obtaining temperature at different positions

Dear all,

I have modelled a turbine blade both in 2D and 3D. I want to find out the parameters at different portions of the output to find out the efficiency. But I do not understand to find the temperatures for all the cells on the face. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

You can extrapolate the values of the face from the values in the interior. For instance, if you are using a cell centred finited volume method, the temperature at the face is (by linear "extrapolation"):

Tface = 1.5*Tn- 0.5*Tn-1
where Tn is the value next to the face and Tn-1 the one before it. I hope this helps
