Blade Design for Steam Turbine
 
Dear all, I have a question how to design the airfoil of blade steam turbine. Can anybody tell me? What is the procedure to design airfoil?. Thanks for your kind help

Hello, first u have to find the profile coordinates of the steam turbine blade. this can be found if u search in the web. then when u could find those x an y coordinates, u have to use Spline tool in the SolidWorks. (any other softwares have the same ability like Powershape, ...)
if u extrude it, u will have a simple blade which should be rotated around a hub.

I think I gave u some guidelines.
