Does anyone have experience implementing vorticity confinement (VC1) in an existing 3d flow solver? Specifically, I am concerned with how the gradients of vorticity magnitude computed and the source term are added to the solver (explicit vs. implicit). Addtionally, were there any observed issues with the stability of the flow solver?
