hi My code compiles soomthly and can run at Compaq Visual Fortran Version 6.0, but there is something wrong when compile using XL Fortran compiler. Can anyone tell me what is the difference between these two compliers. I do parallel computing at AIX operating system, but above problems appear. Thanks in advance.

Compilers vary in their adherence to standards. I have noticed before that the AIX compiler picks things up that DVF doesn't. Post an error message.

If the problem could NOT be solved by a suitable compiler option, you have to revise your code.
