Dear All,
Is it possible perform LES on MATLAB? I am interested in planetary boundary layer problems.

Theoretically you can perform planetary boundary layer problems in matlab. However from practical point of view, its a waste of time. Meteorological applications require very long term runs. Running them in Matlab will take forever to complete. If you are hesitant about writing a code from scratch, you can download WRF. It has all the tools you need and also an example LES code of the convective boundary layer.
