Grid Check Fails in Parallel Processing Mode

I made a geometry in Gambit and meshed it. When I read the .msh file (created using solver Fluent 5/6 in Gambit) using Fluent single processor (serial) mode, the grid check passes. But when I read the same .msh file using Fluent in parallel processing mode (7 processors), the grid check fails, and I get the following message:

********************************************
WARNING: Grid check failed.

2: inconsistent number of storage objects (389 vs 396)
********************************************

I am an intermediate lever user of CFD, so please let me know if any of you can help me out with this. I especially want to know exactly what is happening that it works for one processor, but not for multiprocessor.

My other doubt is, that even if the grid check fails in parallel mode, can I still run the simulation in parallel mode and expect the results to be similar to what I would get in serial (one processor) mode.

Thanks.
