Modeling Macroparticles in Microfluidic Channels

I am wondering if anyone has information on solid object (particle with real dimensions, mass, etc.) simulation in a fluidic domain. CFDRC has a macroparticle module under development, however, expected to be released mid 2005. Is there any other software that is capable to model the flow behaviour of real, single particles in microfluidic channels? Friction, gravity, interaction between particle and fluid as well as between particle and channel bottom and buoyancy should be considered by the appropriate software module.
Thank you in advance for your help. Daniel |

Hi, I am also working on the particle dynamics of ferrofluids in microchannels. If you get a response, could you please inform me? If you can, it will be great! Thanks alot
