Which opensource and free CAD program?
 

Hi to all!
I would like to begin to use OpenFOAM for some aerodynamic calculation and I would like to use only open source (and possibly free) programs.
So I wonder what CAD program to use to generate the 3D surface (STL) to pass to a mesher (GMSH is ok?) so that to have the geometry for OpenFOAM.
I've seen that GMSH itself has also some CAD capabilities, but if possible I would like to have a script-able CAD program so that in the future I can automatize some repetitive modeling tasks (design of wing profiles and so on). Moreover the CAD should have some boolean capabilities so that to simplify the drawing effort.
Is there something like that?
I don't fear to study a new program (a lot of years ago I was an AutoCAD user), but I would like to avoid to start studying a program and then discover that it is not suitable for me.
Any idea?

if you are looking to use just OpenSource then you can use the following:

CADuntu http://www.caduntu.org/ - based on QCad community eddition
Then you can build your model based on the 2D .dxf exported from CADuntu into Blender www.blender.org then export the model as .obj in ParaView
