Minor loss coefficients
I'm looking for the ML coefficent for bends of less than 90 degrees in pipes and having trouble finding anything. I did find one article, the name escapes me atm, but the K numbers seemed very low, i.e. the K for a 135 degree bend was the same I'd seen in several articles for 90 degree bends.
Does anyone know a good sorse, or even a formula for calcuting the formula relative to changes in directions? I have seen several ML formulas related to pressure loss, but unfortunately I don't have ready access to a means to measure the pressure losses. Any suggestions or help would be much appriciated. Man, that's disapointing.

WOOHOOO! I found what I was looking for!
The formula was: K(angle)= K90 degree(square root of angle/90) Too cool!!! |
