in peric code for 1d, there is a file p1ds.inp which contains input data.

in read me file it is written that if you want to redirect input from a file enter p1ds < p1ds.inp in executalble file.

i have a sufficient fortran experience but i dont know what does above statement means?

i have found the solution to my problem.

actually when you compile you fortran code in windows, a debug folder is created which contain an exe file. you have to place this .inp file into debug folder and go to command prompt and then go to the debug folder. then write to p1ds>p1ds.inp to read the from inp file.
