CFD of 3D Wing Tip Blowing
Hi All,
I am trying to simulate a naca0012 3d wing, 10 degs AoA, with continuous jet streams coming out from the tips, so I can see the effects these jets have on blowing out the wing tip vortices and reducing downwash. I am just trying to get my head around how to tackle this. What I am trying at the moment is, creating the geometry of the wing and wing tip in solidworks, then importing it into Gambit as a IGES file, meshing it, and then finally put into ANSYS 12.1 (Fluent) to analyse. Are there any suggestions on how to approach this problem? Thanks P.s. I am completely new to CFD and all packages. |
its been long when this topic was posted but i am interested to know that have you managed to complete this project, now a days i am also involved in the similar type of project
