Hello :
I have been working for a while in extending the caffa code ( public source by Peric & Ferziger for CFD with FV in structured body fitted grids ) to 3D from the standard 2D version. I beleive it is roughly working now but extensive testing is required to clean it from bugs. If anyone is interested in cooperating in this project please contact me. Regards, Gabriel |

Hi,
Is this 3D version for cartesian grid or curvlinear grid? Steady state or transient? If it is 3D transient, curvelinear, I would love to do some testing for you. Pei |

Dear Sir, I'm Dr. Eng. Yasser A. M. from Iraq/Baghdad at University of Technology-Mechanical Engineering Dept. Know I'm in PhD research . I use the CAFFA (in 2D)code to solve the pressure distribution around airfoil and then to find the lift coefficient as a function of angle of attack. Until now I have no problem. But when I need to delay the seperation point by using the method of bleeding.I built a subroutine of bleeding but my problem where I should put it in the code?
Looking forward your early reply to continue my research. Best Regards, Dr. Yasser A. |
