Pressure Poisson Equation: is NASA-VOF2D or RIPPLE correct?
Hi everyone,
In NASA-VOF2D, the Pressure Poisson Equation is given by: (dt/rho) div(grad(p(n+1))) = div(u_tilde) Here rho is treated as constant. In RIPPLE, the Pressure Poisson Equation takes the form of: div(grad(p(n+1))/rho) = div(u_tilde)/dt Here the variation of density in the free surface region is considered. So which formulation is correct (or better)? Thanks! James |
