Hi:

I have a fan noise problem.

What does the blade-passage frequency (BPF) mean?

Could I get some reference materials (Books or papers)??

Thanks a lot.

BPF means the frequency at which would see the blades of a rotor pass if you look at it but are not moving with the rotor (for instance observing from an adjacent stator).
