As the title says, Iīm working with fluent, simulating a solidification process. I havenīt specified the convection coefficient in the boundary conditions, and I heard that if you donīt specify it, fluent calculates it.
The question is: anyone knows what I have to do to make fluent give me the value? Thanks in advance

Fluent would only be able to calculate it if you had fluid flowing over the boundary surface. As such, if you don't specify the value, I believe its default value is 0 W/m^2.K. That is, its default is a perfectly insulated boundary.

Well, thatīs exactly the case, because I have the piece submerged in a molten salt bath that is moving. So how can I obtain the value?
