standard wall functions

Default standard wall functions

Hi All,

Please clarify my question.

If we are not computing prism layers in any mesh either hexa or tetra and in CFD analysis if we want to calculate N-S equations, whether “standard wall functions” take care of viscous effect though the “y+” values are very high (around 1000)?
