standard wall functions -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Irshad22 New Member Irshad Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: Bangalore Posts: 19 Rep Power: 16	Hi All, Please clarify my question. If we are not computing prism layers in any mesh either hexa or tetra and in CFD analysis if we want to calculate N-S equations, whether “standard wall functions” take care of viscous effect though the “y+” values are very high (around 1000)?
