3D pipe in CFD

Hi everybody

I am a bit new in CFD and I am trying to learn it as much as I can. I am analyzing a 3D pipe in order to determine head losses. I am not able to establish the boundary layer for all the volume of the pipe. I have done it for the two faces but not for the perimeter of the pipe.

Which mesh method do yo think is the most adequate for a 3D pipe?

Could anybody help me, please?

Thank you

multi-block structured method will be a proper choice.
another choice which easily gives you a high quality mesh as well as a very good control of boundary layer, is hexaderal mesh.
