Somebody can explain me clearly the difference between vorticity and turbulence intensity?

Re: Vorticity and Turbulence intensity

The vorticity vector is defined as 1/2*curl(u), where u is the velocity vector. The turbulence intensity is the ratio of the turbulent kinetic energy, k, to the average turbulent energy. |
