Can anyone explain to me the differences between eddy viscosity and molecular viscosity? Thanks. :)

Molecular viscosity is property of fluid and it will be constant for a given temperature.

Where as eddy viscosity is property of flow, it depends on the flow field and varies at every point inside the boundary layer.

You can find detailed description about them in any advanced fluid dynamics text book.

Thanks pavitran, your answer help me understand them a lot. I'm using the book "TURBULENT FLOW" of Pope.S.B, but it quite difficult and missing some part i need. Can you suggest some good books about this scope? Thanks.
