Default Modeling air/liquid filter media

Hello,

I am talking to a company about a potential job modeling air and liquid filtration systems. I am looking for information and references on how filtration media is commonly modeled.

I am assuming that porous medium blocks could be used, but if anyone has any further information I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, David Creech

(1). Along the porous medium approach, the modelling of automobile catalytic converter has been fairly active in the past. (2). So, you may want to look into that area for more information. ( less the chemical reaction.) Catalytic converter is still a very important device for reducing air pollution.
