Turbulence model pressure drop analysisHello folks,
may you please advise me which turbulence model (Reynolds or k-epsilon) I am supposed to apply for a pressure drop analysis before and after a venturi meter. Does the choice of the turbulence model have an effect of the pressure calculation at all? I would be very grateful for receiving a response from you. |

It is the integral of the wall shear stress over your geometry now if two turbulence modelling approaches use the same wall functions, what do you expect the difference would be? good luck |

Thank you for your reply!
You mean that both models would calculate the same pressure drop as they use the same wall function????? I am sorry for bothering you with this stupid question but I am just not that aquainted with CFD and the mathematics it is based on. |
