Default Turbulence model pressure drop analysis

Hello folks,

may you please advise me which turbulence model (Reynolds or k-epsilon) I am supposed to apply for a pressure drop analysis before and after a venturi meter. Does the choice of the turbulence model have an effect of the pressure calculation at all?

I would be very grateful for receiving a response from you.

First you need to understand what the pressure drop is and how it is calculated
It is the integral of the wall shear stress over your geometry

now if two turbulence modelling approaches use the same wall functions, what do you expect the difference would be?

You mean that both models would calculate the same pressure drop as they use the same wall function?????

I am sorry for bothering you with this stupid question but I am just not that aquainted with CFD and the mathematics it is based on.
