CFD Online Discussion Forums - CFD/CAD software query ...

Greetings,

I'm a 41 year old model hobbyist from Ohio whom specializes in Scale Model Rocketry, and whilst there is a current program available called AeroCFD that does a fair job of computing flow and the like, I'm curious if anyone knows of any other CAD software that uses CFD or at least a form of it.

Specifically, I'm interested in testing my scratchbuilt and scale rockets before building them to see how AoA and subsonic/supersonic flow effects them aerodynamically.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to lay out the design, then simply (he says knowingly) start the simulation and then if needed, adjust the design accordingly if any rough spots are found.

Probably a stretch, but even a demo of such a software package would at least let me see what capabilities it offers, but naturally at this point I'd be grateful for any input that anyone may be able to offer.
