I am plotting the field gradient of the electric field intensity in a non-axissyemtric geometry.
The gradient reverses direction and seems to be purely due to the algorithm which moves in the increrasing x direction. The algorithm is an upwind scheme.
Please suggest as to what I can do so as to eliminate the effect of the calculation of gradient w.r.t the x direction (which means that the algorithm should actually take the modulus of the gradient so that its value is not based on the co-ordinate system but is only based on its sorrounding values)
